About the Event
Cori Bowen’s Headspace is a series of abstract paintings that explores dimension, spatial illusion, and perspective. The artist fuses expressive texture and color with clear, straight edged geometry to examine the relationship between intuition (the mind) and the physical.
Cori’s work has been featured in galleries locally, most recently achieving the second place prize at Art Howard County, 2021, Howard County Arts Council’s Juried Exhibition and an Honorable Mention in 2022 Visionary Women: Healing and Hope. Born and raised in Columbia, MD, she earned a B.F.A in Printmaking from Maryland Institute College of Art in 2012. She paints from her studio in Columbia, MD, as part of the Long Reach Studio Artist Residency Program.
